Big Bear Planetariums is a mobile planetarium based in Ireland. We arrive, inflate our planetarium in your school hall, gym, library or field, and turn it into a window on the night sky. No bus, no permission slips, no long trip.

Where do you set up the planetarium?
Anywhere with enough floor space and headroom: school halls, sports halls, libraries and community centres. Outdoors, we need a level grassy area at a festival or event. We'll confirm the exact space you need when you book.
Who are the shows suitable for?
Everyone! We run shows for primary and secondary schools, corporate groups, private parties, libraries and festivals. We tailor each show to the age and interests of the audience.
What do we need to provide?
Just the space and access to a standard power socket. We bring the planetarium, the projection equipment and everything else.
Which areas do you cover?
We're based in Ireland and travel to schools and events. Send us your location in the booking form and we'll let you know availability.
